The ancient wisdom encompassing yoga and meditation is increasingly confirmed by modern research. Ayurveda, which dates back 5,000 years, has exerted a strong influence on many systems of medicine, from ancient Greece to traditional Chinese medicine. It is based on a profound understanding of the human body, mind and spirit. In the past, we were in harmony with the plant world and the cycles of nature. Knowledge was shaped by a way of life that interacted with the natural elements.
