SHIRODHARA MASSAGE
The Jewel of Ayurveda
With this training, discover Ayurveda and Shirodhara Massage. It’s the perfect complement to Indian Cranial Massage. This massage is the jewel of Ayurveda. Whether you’re a massage therapist, a hairdresser or simply want to treat yourself, you can offer this age-old massage from India.
Often performed with lukewarm oil, this massage allows you to let go and relax in the deepest sense. Shirodhara Massage is a 2-part massage. It begins with a full-face massage (jaws, cheeks, eye contour, forehead, temples…) combining all-encompassing movements and light, simple or circular pressure, followed by a treatment in which a continuous, slow stream of warm sesame and/or herbal oil or medicated milk is poured over the client’s forehead (3rd Eye, opening the client’s Consciousness).
Originating in India, the Royal Shirodhara Massage is a powerful and unique treatment. It is a jewel of Ayurveda. It is said to be the treatment of the Third Eye of Lord Shiva.
It’s a very popular treatment, given its simplicity and extraordinary effectiveness. It purifies, regenerates and stimulates the elimination of toxins. It acts on diseases of the eyes, ears, head and scalp (hair). It has a spectacular, in-depth effect on stress, anxiety, insomnia, concentration difficulties and mental exhaustion, restoring strength and balance to the nervous system. It provides deep, gentle soothing.
