Shirodhara Massage
is a Massage in
2 parts
. It begins with a Full face massage (jaws, cheeks, eye contours, forehead, temples…) using a combination of all-encompassing movements and light, simple or circular pressure. a treatment in which the water is poured continuously and slowly a drizzle of warm sesame and/or herbal oil or medicated milk on the client’s forehead (3rd Eye, opening the client’s Consciousness).
Shirodhara has the effect of clarifying, calming the mind and improving cognitive functions, as well as helping the patient to feel both invigorated and at peace. Shirodhara produces a state of deep relaxation. Unlike most Ayurvedic treatments, which have an effect on the physical envelope and the energy of the subtle body, Shirodhara has a purifying effect on the mental plane and brings about a calm, balanced state of mind.
